I received my Midwifery education through the Association of Texas Midwives Midwifery training program.  I am blessed with a wonderful husband Jon, and we have five amazing children; three adult daughters Juliana, Sara, and Laney, and two handsome sons, David and Danial. We were also blessed with grandchildren, Adelais, and Magnus!

I began feeling the Lord call me into the medical field in my early twenties and worked as a nurse’s aide at Methodist Hospital of Lubbock, TX on the oncology and general medical/surgical floors. I left the hospital and Lubbock, to move back home to Dallas when I was pregnant with my son David.

After taking some time to be a stay at home mommy, I enrolled in a Medical Assistant program and served in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, and OB/Gyn practices for 15 years.

I am so excited to see what the Lord has in store for me next! I owe everything to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and all of the honor and Glory go to Him!

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose.

My Philosophy

We believe that a woman’s body is made to carry and deliver babies. Women have been having babies naturally since the beginning of time. If a mother is healthy, receives quality prenatal care, follows a healthy diet, and stays active during her pregnancy, little intervention will normally be needed and she can have her baby in the setting that she wants, surrounded by the people she loves in her own home or in a birth center, where she is free to move about and do what she needs to do to feel supported, comfortable, and safe. Our center uses gentle touch, massage, essential oils, soft music, dim lights, and prayer during labor to help promote peace and calming.
Our office is in Kaufman. All prenatal care done at the birthing center.
